Drawn to Observe: Sketching Cool Historic Objects

Draw and paint from nostalgic objects pulled from the Museum's historic trunks outreach education program. Get close up with history, capture it in a still life portrait, annotate with notes and the object's story and take home the memory of a different time and place. Students will work in pen, pencil, and potentially watercolors. If you have beloved family artifacts at home, this is a great class to take to learn how to capture your own treasures on the page. Beginning and experienced artists welcome.

Held at the Northwest Museum of Art and Culture: 2316 W 1st Ave Spokane, WA 99201
